Mondstadt is finally back in the spotlight, and the rumored update is shaping up to be bigger than anyone first imagined. Hoyoverse’s recent official tease of the Hexenzircle was just the tip of the iceberg. The latest, more detailed leaks point to a massive new gameplay mechanic coming in Version 6.2 that could fundamentally change some of the game’s oldest characters.

Forget the early rumors of simple passives. We’re talking about a complete faction system that adds new talents through dedicated quests. Here’s a full breakdown of the new “Arcane Rite” system, the massively upgraded “Venti boost,” Klee’s detailed rework, and the community’s burning question: is a “Diluc boost” on the horizon?

What We Know Now: The “Arcane Rite” Faction System

The initial leaks were just a shadow of the full picture. According to the most recent and credible information, the Genshin Mondstadt boost will arrive as a new mechanic called the “Arcane Rite” or “Hexenzirkel Resonance.”

Instead of a simple passive, this is a deep system where players will:

  1. Complete “Witch’s Coursework” Quests: Each eligible character will have a dedicated new quest.

  2. Unlock Additional Talents: Finishing the quest will permanently unlock new talents and effects for that character.

  3. Activate Faction Resonance: When you have two or more characters who have completed their quests (becoming “Arcane” members) in the same party, you unlock powerful synergistic buffs.

This is Hoyoverse’s first real attempt at a deep, lore-based faction system that goes beyond simple Elemental Resonance.

The Upgraded Leaks: A Detailed “Venti Boost” & Klee Rework

The initial leaks about Venti’s “piercing arrows” were true, but they were incomplete. The new information reveals much more powerful effects.

The Real “Venti Boost”

Venti’s upgrade is now a two-part powerhouse for Spread and Swirl teams:

  • Anemo-Infused Arrows: After using his Elemental Burst, Venti’s Normal Attacks will fire Anemo-infused piercing arrows.

  • Spread Reaction Buff: While his Burst is active, if a nearby character triggers a Spread reaction, their damage is increased by 50% for 4 seconds. Additionally, the Burst itself will deal 135% of its normal damage.

This transforms Venti from a pure crowd-control unit into a potent sub-DPS and a top-tier buffer for Dendro teams.

Klee’s Quality-of-Life Rework

Klee’s buff is a game-changer for her clunky mechanics. Instead of a simple auto-charged attack, she gets a stacking system:

  • “Boom Boom Boom Boom” Stacks: Klee’s Elemental Skills, Bursts, and basic attacks grant her stacks.

  • Enhanced Charged Attacks: These stacks massively increase the damage of her enhanced charged attacks by 115% / 130% / 150% depending on the number of stacks.

lee from Genshin Impact throwing her Jumpty Dumpty bombs, causing a large Pyro explosion.

This change aims to smooth out her gameplay and significantly reward a more active, combo-oriented playstyle.

It’s Not Just Them: Albedo, Mona, and Fischl are Included

This new system extends to other Hexenzircle-affiliated characters, making Mondstadt teams more viable than ever:

  • Albedo: Provides a team-wide damage buff that scales with his DEF.

  • Mona: Gains “Illusion” stacks from her attacks, which are then consumed to increase the party’s Vaporize reaction damage.

  • Fischl: While Oz is on the field, triggering an Overload reaction will grant a significant team-wide ATK DMG bonus.

The Community’s Big Question: Is a “Diluc Boost” Coming?

With all this focus on the Hexenzircle, one name is conspicuously absent: Diluc. The community has been vocal, asking for a “Diluc boost” for years.

As of right now, there are no credible leaks suggesting Diluc is part of the Hexenzircle system. This buff is specifically tied to characters with a lore connection to the witches.

However, the creation of this system is a massive sign of hope. If Hoyoverse is willing to build a “Witch Faction,” it opens the door for other factions in the future, such as:

  • Knights of Favonius Resonance: A potential pathway for a real “Diluc boost,” along with Jean, Kaeya, and others.

  • Liyue Adepti Resonance

  • Fatui Harbinger Synergy

For now, a direct “Diluc boost” remains speculation, but this new mechanic is the best evidence yet that Hoyoverse is finally willing to revisit and rework its oldest characters.
